Meet Your Host
Hi, I’m Martin.
For more than 20 years, Lake Vänern has been my workplace, my home and my passion.
As a conservation manager in the archipelago, I spend much of the year restoring habitats, caring for islands and following the changing seasons across one of Scandinavia’s least known landscapes.
The journeys I offer grow naturally from this work. Rather than simply visiting places, we explore a living archipelago shaped by nature, history and the people who have called these islands home.
Whether we are watching sea eagles, walking among rare flowers or sharing a coffee on a remote island, my goal is simple:
